Ordering Food (Practice)
- Put the following conversations in the correct order and then practice them:
1. Conversation one:
Customer: One large coke, please.
Customer: No, thank you.
Cashier: Anything else?
Cashier: That comes to $10.95
Cashier: Hi can I take your order, please?
Customer: Okay. Thanks.
Customer: Yes, I’d like a cheese burger, please.
Customer: One small fries, please.
Cashier: Anything to drink?
Cashier: Would you like an ice-cream?

2. Conversation two:
Customer: Sprite, please.
Customer: Okay. Thanks.
Cashier: Hi, how may I help you today?
Cashier: That comes to $11.25.
Customer: Large, please.
Customer: I want the grilled chicken combo, please.
Cashier: What size French fries do you want?
Cashier: What kind of drink would you like?
Customer: Yes, one apple pie, please.
Cashier: Anything for dessert?

3. Conversation three:
Customer: One hot sauce and one creamy garlic.
Cashier: $24.95 and it’ll be ready in 20 minutes.
Cashier: So you’ll get two large pizzas; one with cheese, pepperoni, and mushrooms. The other will have tomatoes, black olives, and onions. Your order includes 4 cans of soft drinks free. What kind of drink would you like to have?
Customer: I’ll take cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni on the large one.
Customer: What do you have on sale?
Cashier: Do you want the thin crust or the rising one?
Cashier: And the medium one?

Cashier: Pizza Pazzi. How may I help you?
Customer: Okay. Thanks.
Cashier: Anything to drink?
Cashier: What kind of toppings would you like to have on the pizza?
Cashier: If you buy two large pizzas, you’ll get 4 cans of soft drink free.
Customer: The thin crust for both, please.
Customer: Tomatoes, black olives and onions.
Customer: I’d like one large and one medium pizza, please.
Customer: Okay. I’ll change my order to two large pizzas, then.
